Purpose of the role
The Training Officer is responsible to support and train all restaurant BOH staff in efficient management and safe food preparation and all FOH staff in customer service and any FOH related tasks in their branch. He/she will develop and deliver training to all staff in branches ensuring that there is a culture of continuous learning and improvement in the branches. In addition, will be responsible for standardizing BOH and FOH operations in KCAL, updating SOP and controlling documents in branches.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Induct and lead all Demi Chef De Partie/Kitchen-in-Charge/Commis 1 in order to ensure that they are receiving adequate support, training and resources to operate their branch at optimum level.
Responsible for training the staff in the entire operations in all branches as advised by the respective HODs.
To provide necessary training for BOH staff to improve the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery.
To provide necessary training for FOH staff to improve the customer experience aligned with Kcal Sequence of Service.
Motivate and lead employees to perform their roles to a high standard and in alignment to policies and procedures.
Standardize operations across all branches.
Create and maintain a skills grid for each restaurant employee.
Carry out the periodical audit of all kitchens ensuring improvements required are acted on
To train new kitchen helpers, cashiers and baristas and provide ongoing training as advised by the F&B Operations Manager/ Restaurant Manager.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/ Equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (At least 1 year within the U.A.E)
Excellent knowledge in MS Office
U.A.E Driving license is advantageous, not essential
Excellent interpersonal skills in English

The Commis 3 Chef is responsible for cutting vegetables, preparing salads, sandwiches and provide assistance to the Demi Chef De Partie/Kitchen in-charge as and when need arises.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Responsible to cut fruits and vegetables.
Responsible to prepare sandwiches and salads as per customer’s order.
Perform a combination of duties to maintain kitchen, work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition: Sweep and mop floors.
Wash worktables, refrigerators and surrounding areas.
Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Ensure food is prepared keeping in mind hygiene and cleanliness by following the Basic Food Hygiene rules.
Keep the kitchen area clean and all the equipment used for preparing food clean and hygienic.
Responsible for storing food products in the designated area.
Provide assistance to Kitchen In charge as and when required.
Professional Requirements
High School/Equivalent.
Commis 3/Kitchen Helper experience of minimum 2 to 3 years, ideally from fast food restaurant.
Knowledge of preparing sandwiches, salads and shakes.
Fluency in English.

Based in our Central Kitchen (Dubai Investment Park) and reporting to the Kitchen Stewarding in Charge, the Kitchen Stewarding Assistant is responsible to maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner by following the cleaning schedules and adhering to the HACCP standards and company policy & procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply the Central Production Unit
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals.
Any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Junior Telesales Executive is responsible to present the company products with integrity to customers within the UAE. Reporting to the Telesales Team Leader, S/he will handle the accounts of Kcal Meal Plans customers and provide them with efficient customer service.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Influence customers to buy the product by following a prepared script.
Initiate and follow up the sales process from initial contact phase till closure
Document and update all activity through our CRM.
Managing, tracking and following up on leads by calling them.
Meeting daily and quarterly sales target through calling
Submit daily and monthly report of all activities done.
Serve as point of contact for customers and answer their service related queries in person and on the phone.
Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with MS office knowledge

Knowledge of methods, tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Knowledge of operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of pumps and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
Good knowledge of all equipment used for maintenance and repair.
